The GREEN VISIONS POTSDAM film and science festival celebrated its premiere in spring 2024. With a variety of film screenings and inspiring conversations between scientists, creatives and the audience, we offer a platform to discuss, listen and learn together how we can tackle the climate crisis in a solution-oriented and encouraging way. This dialog will be complemented by innovative and sustainable offerings at the “Market for Sustainable Living” in front of the Film Museum.

At the market for sustainable living in front of the Film Museum, consumers meet producers of green products and handmade food - a place to exchange sustainable practices and ideas.

POTSDAM - CENTER FOR CLIMATE, SCIENCE AND FILM

Potsdam is considered a center for international climate research and film production, making it an ideal location for combining these two disciplines. The festival’s backdrop is the impressively restored Potsdam Film Museum. Here, the film screenings and subsequent discussions will take place in the museum’s own cinema, while the “Market for Sustainable Living” right on the doorstep offers an additional opportunity to engage with sustainable topics.
